Liberty of London...

I never have the chance to visit London. Well, maybe one day I will. You have to realize that 1sterling pound is equal to RM5.00. That is a lot of money! So, basically I grow up knowing England as the place for the best football club in the world, yes Manchester United it is, the best shopping heaven in the world, yes Harrods it is, the best university in the world, Oxford Uni, and that wax museum, Madame Tussauds.

However, recently, my blogging activity has introduce me a place called The Liberty of London. It is a shopping heaven for luxury and great design. Well, let me introduce you to Liberty of London. Remember the cotton fabric we used to make the baju kurung. You know those small english rose design. Yes, that's the one! It's the trademark of Liberty of London.

yes, the English rose design on the  wall. that is why you won't missed this building!
Arthur Liberty was the mastermind or I can say the owner of Liberty of London back in 1875. Yes, you were not born yet! "It’s Arthur Liberty’s legacy, which stands for integrity, value, quality and above all beautifully designed product. This vision and spirit continues today within the iconic Tudor building."

Liberty, in the 1950s, continued its tradition for fashionable and eclectic design. All departments in the shop had a collection of both contemporary and traditional designs. New up and coming designers were promoted and often included those still reflecting the Liberty passion for handcrafted work.

The 1960s brought about the passion for fashion. Extravagance and luxury were fundamental in the look for both men and women and Eastern influences once again were the inspiration for society. Art Nouveau became fashionable and Liberty adapted the furnishing designs from its archive.
In 1975 Liberty celebrated its centenary. This was heralded by a major exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Today Liberty is the leading destination store in London, a wonderful emporium where the latest fashions sit alongside design classics.

We Will Be A Dream

kadangkala terasa tersangatlah sunyi..dan mula memikir perkara yg menjadi nostalgia. mengimbau kembali kenangan ketika di awal zaman diploma ku dulu. sekarang dah lima tahun berlalu. cepat sungguh masa berlalu.
bila saya rase sunyi saye suke lihat gambar-gambar nie...
pernah beli bubles tube kat pasar malam dungun and main kat tepi pantai..best!!
selalu jugak menari gila-gila kat hostel ngan roomate (tension bcoz exams)
melompat-lompat kat tepi pantai nie dah biasa dah (trust me..feel very relief!)
sang pelangi..lepas hujan pasti aku dapat lihat nya dengan jelas kat pantai tu..
taburan bintang menyinari malam..dapat lihat dgn jelas waktu bulan purnama!
walaupon dah dinyatakan kat situ hanya utk kanak-kanak shj...kami pon kanak-kanak juga ea!!

Kerusi panjang mengadap pantai telok bidara!!

Nah...inilah kerusi panjang aka bench yg bakal kami duduk 10 tahun akan datang! (maybe!). I always dream that 10 years from now, we all will meet again at this exact place where we part away three  yeras ago. Yes, me, aan, dira, syuk, lah and yana and maybe yong (heavily preganant now), jah and many more.Is 10 years too long? Well, I don't know and it doesn't matter. What matters most right now is what we will turns out to be. Me, for instant, is currently jobless, searching for job or business opportunity (it's a tough world out there!) which I still can't make something or just anything to happen right now. It's complicated (is there any button like the Facebook relationship status!...lol). Well, as for my friends, lah and syuk have finally land themselves jobs ( I don't really know whether they like it or not) but it pays them. That definately good for the time being. As for dira, she's already in Australia completing her english course for her MBA. Aan is also searching for jobs.  I don't know in 10 years time what we will turn out to be. But when the time comes, we  are definately be somebody that we are proud of. No matter what my job is at that time, I definately proud and enjoy what I do at that time. Only time will tell.

a little piece of heaven....

I was watching an indian film called 3 idiots earlier tonight. To be honest was fascinated by the view or I can say the scenery of the film. Yes, half of the film was shot in Mumbai but the other half was shot in Ladakh, India. So, I Google the place to get an up close with the view over there. It is a little piece of heaven. The place was up high surrounded by mountains and clear blue river flowing. It a breath taking scenary. I will have to add this place in my Travel List. I really hope to go there in the future ( owhh, at that time with my new DSLR camera of course!).

Here are some of the view there, Ladakh, India. (so I can start daydreaming of this place..hehehe..('',)...)
